About the shop
A small filament shop in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Fern & Filament is a two-room operation on Depot Street: one side is where we spool and test, the other is where we box up the day’s orders. That’s deliberate. We stock twelve SKUs we actually stand behind instead of a wall of thirty we don’t.

Vacuum sealed
Every spool gets a heat-sealed foil bag with fresh silica gel. Nothing sits on a shelf breathing humidity between us and you.
Dry-time card
Printed card in every bag with the exact drying temperature and time for that material, and the temperatures we used on the shop machines when we qualified the batch.
Tested on real printers
Every batch prints a test tower on both a Prusa MK4 and a Bambu P1S before it ships. If it doesn’t come out clean, the batch stays in the back.
The workshop
Depot Street, five days a week.
We’re a walk-up-and-knock kind of shop. If you’re local, you’re welcome to stop by during workshop hours and pick spools off the shelf yourself — but call ahead so we can save you the drive if a color is between batches.
